One Cheetah, One Cherry

onechonechIn every illustrator’s working life there should be a nursery rhyme book, a numbers book, a colour book and an alphabet book. At least one of each. This is my One to Ten. Slightly anarchic in a different way to Dr Seuss, hopefully very beautiful, with the possibility of play never far away and the chance to use the book to learn about adding numbers together. I am trying to make each page the catalyst for its own story.

Two dogs, two balls; one big, one small.

My hope is to make numbers beautiful. Because they are.

Is it possible to go on a mailing list for when your One Cheetah, One Cherry book goes on sale as I am in love with it.

I don’t really have a mailing list, but am on facebook, twitter, and if you keep an eye on this blog you will know when it comes out. So glad you like it! I think that might be my best advanced sale!

  9. I fell in love with your magic in a bookshop in Llanidloes. To me, aspiring to be a poet and author, you’re a great role model. I so love these otters and their stones – I shall buy this book as an indulgent present to myself.

What would be the appropriate way to request permission for reading books on a children’s radio program?

Thank You so much for the beautiful books you have brought into the world
