Dizzy

A collection of postcards with images by Jackie MorrisPostcards with images by Jackie MorrisStill feeling dizzy after very busy time at Art in Action and then a run to Cheltenham to collect MBF paintings.

On the way home I dropped off signed copies of I am Cat at Jaffe and Neale in Chipping Norton and The Yellow Lighted Bookshop in Tetbury.

Now I have delivered postcards to Solva Woollen Mill. (They will soon be on their website but maybe email them if you want to buy now, and they also have rare first edition hardback copies of Can You See a Little Bear and Singing to the Sun.)

My camera is full of images from Art in Action. But I have a cover to paint so will have to put together a blog post later when I have had time for things to settle. I have bills to pay and paperwork that needs doing, an exhibition to prepare for, a book to get started, a book to get finished, a book to write, paintings bursting to get out of my head and a house to prepare for guests. So here, for now, are a couple of images.

Drawing produced while at Art in ActionWhat Art in Action is all about, hard work, love and beautyMeanwhile, to win a set of the 30 cards go to The House of Golden Dreams, like the page and leave a comment on the postcard thread, then share an image, any image on House of Golden Dreams on your facebook page. And for those who don’t do facebook, link to my blog and leave a comment on this post, and share an image/blog/link to my blog. I will announce the winners on 8th August. So, two chances to win.

About Jackie

I am an artist and writer. I live in a small house by the sea in Wales where I write, paint, walk and watch and dream of bears and whales. I love to read, have a wish for wings and prefer the company of animals to that of humans, though at times I can be quite friendly. I am learning how to work with wood engraving tools and hoping to show that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
