If, while out walking, you find a beautiful feather on your path and feel inclined to do so, would you please send it to me. I need to make some wings for someone so that he might fly. Not piles of feathers, just one, or two. Please send beautiful feathers to me C/O Solva Woollen Mill, Middlemill, Solva, Nr Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA62 6XD. By return of post I will send a card with the shortest of short stories written on it, each one original.

And think, about the simple wonder that feathers are.

Many thanks.

  1. I have a box of feathers I have collected over the years, of everything from crow and owl to even a couple of kingfisher feathers. Would you like the whole box?

Hi: I sent a small envelope of feathers already from the US and left a comment here which does not seem to have been approved. Do you need more? I have more. 🙂

Hi So sorry. I have been overwhelmed with feathers. What I need now is individual feathers of great beauty. Will be opening more and sending replies soon.
      Thank you.

Ah too bad. I had a friend who wanted to give me a rare feather but I declined saying it should go to someone who really collects them. I’ll have to ask her if I can send it to you. I am not sure if it was grouse or something like that.
All I have found recently is a medium sized magpie feather, they look very magical. But I’m sure you have plenty of these already. I’ll be happy to send it otherwise.
