I grew up in Broadway in the Cotswold, with its rolling hills and woods and honey coloured houses. I used to love to walk, all day, restless on my teenage feet, roaming the hills, dreaming of horses and hounds and bears and longing to escape school and go to art college where people would eat, breathe and dream paint. So, this exhibition will be something of a home coming.
Little Buckland Gallery looks wonderful, and I hope to do more with them. From what I have seen so far this might be an excellent place for Christmas shopping. My books will be there. I might, not sure yet whether I have done enough work to be able to escape for a couple of days, but would love to see this gallery, set in the beautiful village of Little Buckland.
