Look carefully at the picture on the endpages of the book. Many of the characters in this picture can be found on the pages as you travel through the book.

	Try to find out about medieval musicians and minstrels and jongleurs.
	Where are the people going, and why? Write a story or poem about their journey.
	How many people can you see?
	Create a name for the balloon, how do you think it will land and where?
	Create a piece of music for the musicians to perform as they travel along.
	Create a Cinquain to go with the image. (A cinquain is a poem of five lines, with a set number of syllables in each line, 2,4,6,8 and 2. See the example below.)

Snow lands,

Low sun in sky,

Faint music plays sweet songs,

Caravanserai of travelers,

Moves on.
