Look at snowflakes and the patterns of snowflakes. All snowflakes have six almost symmetrical sides. Very occasionally you will find one with twelve sides. Each falling flake is different, an infinite variety. There are lots of different kinds of penguins. Find out about penguins, where they live, what they eat.

Through the book lanterns hang, and lights and candlesticks are carried. Design your own lantern, and see if you can find out about another book, called The Mousehole Cat. In Mousehole every year there is a candlelit parade where lanterns are carried through the streets.
