Continuing to paint in the face of a world in turmoil, this months offerings, so far, for MSF are unusual, tiny. Some time ago I bought, from an online dealer called Wasp and Bird on Instagram, a small box of antique visiting cards, from an age gone by.

With the thought that everyone could do with a visit from a small bit of peace, this week I have been doodling on the cards with the haunted pen and oak gall ink. They are tiny. The smallest are 7.5 cms x 2.5. The larger are 7.5 x 3.7cms. They are all £125 each ( signed on the back) The numbers at the side identify each one. 100% of the money will go to MSF, so email me before donating, for instructions. There are so few of these. How old they are I don’t know but it has been a while since visiting cards were used. They have gold edges to them. (Sold so far: no. 1, 2, 5, 6 and no 7 is reserved.)

Also, having played a little with the heraldic tinctures in the latest antique paintbox I have ( yes, the haunted box) there is also this larger postcard, also £125. This was made with one of the pens from the box and one of the tinctures.

Email to reserve a piece before donating. There is also this one, still left from last month at £195. Oak gall ink from the haunted pen. A small flock.

And then I mended my broken heart. If only it was always that easy.

I’d be interested in one of the visiting cards Jackie
