Away from home
In the past week I have traveled far and talked much about dragons. I have learned so many things and seen most beautiful landscapes and autumn coloured leaves. I have sold books, so many books and been heart glad to hear children so excited to read their book that they have sat right down just after I have signed the pages and started reading. Now at Simply Books in Bramhall, near Stockport, they have signed copies of all of my books for sale and tomorrow I will be in the bookshop in Bramhall from 10 until 4, reading stories, painting stars and hopefully meeting someone I have wanted to meet for a long time, Saviour Pirrota. After four I am running away to the hills where I hope the hares will be waiting to welcome me, then home, a long road.

I am so pleased to know that there are dragons in Bramhall. I was born there, but know next to nothing of the place, apart from an impression of pleasant suburbia, and now I can just be proud that it is a place that welcomes dragons!
