1. Phone camera shop about focus.
2. Make list.
3. Draw hares.
4. Take van to get new clutch.
5. Remember to stop and watch birds, and, should a rainbow appear, to marvel at its beauty. Beautiful rainbow arch across the land framing my home, and bright birds on the feeders. But now a dark and dirty evening with rainsong on roof. Glad of the fire and new logs ordered.
6. Pull leeks from the garden while it is still daylight. Only just remembered in time, but love the smell of new pulled leeks. These were grown from seed. Next year I must grow more. Planted dwarf runner beans last year and people laughed at them because they were small, but they stood up to the wind and yielded dense crops for broadbean and bacon salad. And their flowers were dark and lovely.
7. Paint. Can always paint for longer but the small part of painting today was hard, working with acrylics. Stretching my brain to work in new ways, see new things. Hard work.
