The Promise
There was first a story, read to me by Nicola Davies in a kitchen in Abergavenny. The story became a book, illustrated so beautifully by Laura Carlin. And now there will be a film.
At its heart the book is about how the world can be changed, how one person, by their actions, can make a difference. The core of the story is personal empowerment, and joy. It is also about how healing the damage we’ve done to the world can/might heal us.
Now there is a fund raiser to get copies of the book into schools where this message is needed more than ever.

In support of this initiative, to get books into schools where they are really needed I am offering pieces of work for sale. Some of these are made with ink made from Oak Gall by Flora Scott Wallace. You can see Flora’s work on Instagram, and also here, with Cosmo Sheldrake. Just beautiful.
Each piece is £150, apart from the otter with gold leaf which is £180. The size of a postcard. Please email to secure (jackie@jackiemorris.co.uk) as all are original pieces. I will try to keep an eye on messages so that I can say when each is sold, but I might be a bit slow so please be patient with me.
All of these are original pieces, painted on to Two Rivers Paper.
